4. John Kundla

John Albert Kundla is No. 4 inductee in our list of top 10 best NBA coaches of all-time for his glorious coaching career. Kundla is an American former college and professional NBA coach since 1948. He served as the first head coach of the Minneapolis Lakers in NBA and he stayed there for a record 11 NBA seasons, from 1948 to 1959. Kundla led his team five League championships, four in the NBA and one in the BAA (Basketball Association of America).

He has a NBA coaching record of 423-302 with an average of 0.583 during his career as a head coach. In 1995, John Kundla was inducted in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. It was sad but truth that, John Kundla never achieved the NBA coach of the Year award.

Pat Riley is a former basketball player and coach in NBA, who is now serving as the American professional Basketball executive. Riley has been the team president of the NBA team Miami Heat since 1995. He is regarded as one of the best NBA coaches in American history. His NBA coaching career spanned 27 years, from 1981 to 2008. Pat Riley coached los Angeles Lakers from 1981 to 1990, New York Knicks from 1991 to 1995, Miami Heat from 1995 to 2003 and again in another session from 2005 to 2008. The former American basketball coach, Red Auerbach is remembered as the pioneer of modern basketball. He redefined the basketball as a game dominated by team play and defense. Many famous basketball players were groomed by Red Auerbach, who later inductd their names in the Basketball Hall of Fame. In 1950, he made a history by drafting the first African-American NBA player, Chuck Cooper. He also introduced the first African American starting five in his team later in 1964.

He served as the NBA head coach from 1946 to 1966. He started coaching the Washington Capitols in 1946 and ended there in 1949. Rudy Gobert Returns From Injury Against The Rockets

Rudy Gobert will be expected to play against the Rockets on Thursday. Although Jeff Whithey will start the game at center, Gobert will be playing off the bench and rejoining with his teammates. It can be a memorable return for his as the injury was fatal. Rudy Gobert has been out from NBA since December 2 suffering a bad knee injury during practicing. However, he was then diagnosed with a grade 2 MCL sprain, for which he could out of NBA indefinitely. NBA basketball players who have suffered similar injuries, have been out for 4-7 weeks. Rudy’s been out for five weeks already and he is on the verge of return. It seems that, his recovery was right on schedule.

He spent an amazing last season with Utah Jazz. His game changing defensive presence for the Jazz made him one of the most notable players. Kobe Bryant Is Dominating NBA All-Star Votes

The NBA second round votes have been counted and the great Kobe Bryant is the first player to break the million vote mark record. Kobe Bryant has earned over 1,262,118 votes, which is still more than LeBron James (636,388), and Kevin Durant (616,096) combined. His is also the leading scorer in the history of NBA All-Star Game with 280 points. Bryant’s 17 All-star selections stands second just behind Kareem Abdul Jabbar, who was selected for 19 times. The NBA veteran, Kobe Bryant is spending a long 20 years in NBA. He announced that this could be his last season.

The 65th edition of NBA All-Star game will be held on 14 February, 2016 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. It will be the first All-Star game to be held outside the United States. The All-Star game will be broadcasted in over 200 countries around the world and will be commentated in more than 40 languages. The TNT telecom will be telecasting the All-Star Game in United States for the 14th consecutive year, which will make the Turner Sports’ 31st year of broadcasting NBA All-Star coverage.

NBA All-Star voting in 2016 is presented by Verizon. The voting is an all-digital program. It gives fans everywhere the opportunity to vote for their favorite NBA players for the All-Star game starters. Stephan Curry  with 925,789 votes is thought to be the only player who might be able to surpass Kobe Bryant before the closing of the voting on January 18.
