Some movements have been taking place all over Brazil since last summer’s Confederations Cup. These issues are raising concerns about security at the upcoming big event.

The Brazilians were originally organized to protest against increases in travel fares. Now they have gone on to include demonstrations against staging the World Cup. They are also protesting against the corruption in government and a lack of social budget.

Above all this, Pele believes everything will settle down. He expects for the event to begin. And as a matter of fact when the fantastic World Cup begins, all the problems will become of secondary importance.

Pele told CNN,

“We have had political problems, but it will be a fantastic World Cup”

Last year the 73-year-old national hero had to come under fire for his criticism of protest. It began at last year’s Confederations Cup and have continued on a sporadic basis ever since.

The Brazilian fans have found this odd with the current idol. Present Brazilian legend, Barcelona’s Neymar said to be inspired by the mass mobilization. He also inspires the issues focused on poor quality public services. Despite all these negative enrollment of the government, billions of dollars are being spent on the World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games.

Pele had to clarify his position,

“We accept of course we want the best for our country. But the players have nothing to do with this or political corruption”

‘So it’s wrong to boo the players like happened in the Confederations Cup”

Pele expects people to separate these things. He believes that the players have always shown off the best side of Brazil. So why not support them.

“Let’s support them, because this is a good moment for us”

He said.

The Brazilian legend is hoping, Neymar to help Brazil a record sixth World Cup triumph. Neymar started for Pele’s old club Santos before his big money move to Barcelona. Pele hopes Neymar is benefitted from playing in European club.

“A lot of Brazilians were annoyed when Santos sold him to Barcelona, for Neymar it was fantastic as he gets more experience at the highest level”

He explained.

Pele kept a starring role in Brazil’s triumphs in the finals of the 1958 and 1970 World Cups. He is hoping the current team can take their own place in such a fantastic World Cup history.

Though Pele never mentioned the Brazilian team as most favorite for the fantastic World Cup. He didn’t even forget to point at Spain, Argentina, Germany and Italy as their most dangerous challengers. But Brazilian football is still the best and most beautiful of the world.

Landon Donovan Dropped From U.S. World Cup Team

Coach Jurgen Klinsmann trimmed his roster to 23 players. Surprisingly an expected name is missing from the list. Landon Donovan, who was considered the best male player in the history of United States soccer, is out of the U.S. World Cup team declared on Thursday.

With 57 goals and 58 assists Donovan is the career leader for the national team. The 32 year-old was seeking to play in the world cup for the fourth time. He already had 156 international appearances.

He was the key player for the 2010 U.S. World Cup Team. With his great vision and threatening speed he provided the opportunity for the team to play in the second round.

After all this memoirs, anyone following the national team closely, will not be surprised with Donovan’s exclusion. Someone can agree and someone still can’t.

Despite his experience, Klinsmann had to make opportunity for forwards like Chris Wondolowski and Aron Johannsson. With Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey they deserved instead to be named for the U.S. World Cup team.

“I am very disappointed with today’s decision and I was looking forward to playing in Brazil”

Donovan expressed like this on his Facebook page.

Right back Brad Evans was also cut from the U.S. World Cup Team on Thursday. It was quite surprising move from the coach. There are some other names like – Terrence Boyd, Michael Parkhurst, Joe Corona, Maurice Edu and Clarence Goodson. They were also kept out for the team.

The United States has opened its training camp recently ahead of next month’s World Cup in Brazil. Just before the event, Klinsmann made clear to reporters that the roster spots are to be earned, never to be gifted as career achievement awards.

Klinsmann told the Associated Press,

“I just see some other players slightly ahead of him, so I have to make the decisions as of today”

“Donovan knows I have the highest respect for him and what is good today for this group is going into Brazil”

Klinsmann always respects for what Donovan did for U.S. soccer. But he had to take the decision, though it may seem a little rude.

“You give him every compliment he deserves. Unfortunately soccer is about what you do today and what you hopefully do tomorrow”

Klinsmann said.

“The group is based on what we go through together and what we believe and for today it is the right decision”

Landon Donovan took a self-imposed four-month sabbatical from soccer in December 2012. But he returned and played superbly in the 2013 Gold Cup. And he was relegated to reserve duty last month for a friendly against Mexico. Klinsmann said that Donovan lacked speed and insistence in training. He also appeared heavier than in the past.

Klinsmann also appeared concerned that Donovan lacked motivation and was too willing to accept a lesser role on the national team. Especially after his inconsequential stints in the Bundesliga, Klinsmann also questioned about Donovan’s toughness.

Still, his absence could add more vulnerability to the U.S. World Cup Team. The team has historically struggled to score in the tournament and no U.S. forward has delivered a goal in the World Cup since 2002. Where Donovan has five goals in World Cup.

“If Landon is on the field, he’s our top one or two players”

Goalkeeper Tim Howard told reporters.

Donovan had seemed resigned and excited while speaking to reporters in recent days. After conceding that injury and age had tempered his skill. He might have to play as a reserve. But he said he remained confident in his ability. May be he deserved to be on the U.S. World Cup Team.

He told reporters,

“I have to prove that, and I have to earn it”

Unlike his first appearance in the World Cup 2002, he did not have the youthful energy and excitement. Probably Donovan can see the game and I see the situation a lot more changed.

Steven Gerrard hints at international retirement after World Cup

England and Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard hints he will decide his international future and even he could retire from the international stage after the forthcoming World Cup in Brazil. Gerrard made it sound like he could be involved in his last international tournament.

The 33-year-old, Steven Gerrard will lead Roy Hodgson’s side to Brazil in June. In the group stage their opponents are Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica.

Gerrard is very much hopeful to defy their underdog status in the World Cup and make a serious challenge for their first World Cup crown since 1966.

But the Liverpool midfielder, turning 34 next week, acknowledges this could be his last appearance in the international scene.

The captain said,

“I won’t stay around if I’m not wanted.” He hints to make the decision saying,” it will be very close after the World Cup I’ll make that decision.”

If Gerrard wasn’t contemplating hanging it up for his country, there wouldn’t be a decision to make, but it’s on his mind obviously.

He told English newspapers,

”I am not going to to leave anyone hanging. Don’t worry, as soon as the World Cup is over, I’ll make the decision.”

With Liverpool nearly winning the title last season, the clib would no doubt benefit from the playmaker taking time off during international breaks in the schedule, especially with the grind of European play next year.

If Steven Gerrard plays in every upcoming friendly match plus group stage match in the World Cup, he would equal David Beckham’s outfield appearances record of 115. By calling Beckham his hero, touching the milestone isn’t important for Gerrard said,

“Isn’t an important one.”

To get close to Beckham, to match him would be an unbelievable achievement for him when Steven Gerrard mentioned that he was lucky enough to play with him.

Steven Gerrard has won a Champions League in dramatic fashion at the club level, but he was not lucky enough to win a Premier League title, that something the Reds came so close to during last season.

After appearing his third World Cup, he may decide his retirement, but the club honors may be more important to his legacy than any other thing he may be able to still achieve with England squad.

Mentioning his future chat with Brendon Rodgers and Roy Hodgson he said,

“I’ll chat to them all and make the right decision at the right time.”

The Liverpool man would be a huge to his country based on his performance across the World Cup qualifying campaign. He has been England’s most consistent performer, setting the standards as captain. Roy Hodgson said about Steven Gerrard,

“Steven is a real talisman for the group. He is a real leader for the team and everyone there.”

Italy international Riccardo Montolivo is fired up for the Brazil World Cup 2014

Riccardo Montolivo had to admit a miserable domestic campaign with AC Milan, which in turn left him fired up for the upcoming World Cup 2014, Brazil.

AC Milan could only finish eighth in the recently-completed Serie A season. For the first time in 16 years, they are also going to miss out the European competition.

This was a real shock for Milan. AC Milan won the title just three years ago. And haven’t finished outside the top three since 2008. Riccardo Montolivo knows they need to do much better next time.

By this time there is the biggest matter of the World Cup. Riccardo Montolivo is hoping he can play a big part for Italy in Brazil World Cup 2014.

“Personally I’m coming into the competition really charged up”

Riccardo Montolivo said to Gazzetta dello Sport.

He is totally inspired to come back from such a negative season. He believes that no one from the Milan team can be satisfied with the campaign. Neither individually nor collectively. Nothing positive!

“We have to learn from the mistakes we’ve made and try to be competitive next season”

Now the only target he is up to is giving the maximum for the national team. He expects to do well in the upcoming event.

Italy international Riccardo Montolivo, Italian midfielder
Riccardo Montolivo ;

Riccardo Montolivo came up through the Azzurri youth ranks. Then the 29-year-old took part in his debut with the senior team in 2007.

Montolivo had to start without Andrea Pirlo, who was injured for the first three games this season. But he could not help the defending champions to avoid a shock. Finally they had to admit an early exit from the tournament.

Riccardo Montolivo has another great reason to do well in South America. He expects to help the team for amending their dismal display in South Africa, the last World Cup 2010.

“The World Cup in South Africa proved to be a negative experience”

He said.

“Our desire is to bounce back after what happened four years ago. We can’t wait to put things right”

Riccardo Montolivo has scored two goals in 57 appearances for his country. He believes that there can be no better place than Brazil to do well for the four-time world champions.

“The final 23-man squad can be a beautiful surprise in the tournament”

As he said to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Italy was unbeaten in qualifying games. They are going to begin their World Cup campaign against England on June 14 in Manaus. They will also take on Costa Rica and Uruguay in Group D.

Rafael Van Der Vaart injury ruled him out of Netherlands World Cup squad

Netherlands midfielder Rafael van der Vaart sustained a serious calf injury that made him miss the World Cup for the Netherlands.

Rafael van der vaart is the most experienced player in Louis van Gaal’s dutch squad with 109 international caps. As the intensity of his injury is so severe, making him unable to recover, the dutch coach van Gaal made the decision to leave him out of his squad for the upcoming showpiece event.

The Hamburg captain, van der Vaart picked up the knock in his calf while training in Portugal on Tuesday with rest of the dutch squad and he will be unable to appear in a third World Cup subsequently.

For the Netherlands it is a huge blow indeed after being beaten in the final of South Africa World Cup, 2010. Netherlands also miss another star Kevin Strootman, who has not recovered from a torn cruciate ligament he sustained in early March.

Van der Vaart in the 2013-14 club campaign made 27 Bundesliga appearances as Hamburg captain. He scored 7 goals and bagged 6 assists in the league. Rafael van der Vaart will be desperately hoping that this is the last injury-setback for the squad as the Dutch team face a tough challenge in the group stages of Brazil World Cup this summer.

In Group B their opponents will be Australia, Chile and the mighty Spain. To whom they lost in the last World Cup final. With their first game against Spain on June 13, they are very much eager not to repeat the 2010 final. They will hope to avoid losing at start of the tournament that it may put them on the back foot from the off in Brazil and could lead to an early exit.

However, many are hopeful for the Dutch, expecting them to go as far in 2014 as they did in last World Cup. With the stars like Arjen Robben and Robin Van Persie, they can hope that for sure.

There is a fear of distraction from the current job for the coach Van Gaal as he recently confirmed to take Manchester United after the season.

Although Van der vaart injury is a big blow for the Dutch, they still possess the quality to make an impact in Brazil. They will be a real opening challenge for Spain at FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

Germany eager to end the curse of “Third-place” in the World Cup

German captain Philipp Lahm insists he is sick of finishing third in the World Cup as well as the team. Germany head to Brazil in 2014 FIFA World Cup aiming to end their 24-year wait for a rourth World Cup title.

Consecutive semi-final defeats at both of the last two World Cups have led to the Germany National Team taking bronze. With Philipp Lahm in their side it has been 12 years since the German lost the 2002 World Cup final to Brazil in Yokohama, Japan.

After spending a decade in the German national team Philipp Lahm insisted,

“I do not want to go out in the semi-finals again or visit Brazil just to soak up the sun”

Improved counter-attack and tighter defence will be the key areas to coach Joachim Loew in order to break their duck. The German squad is packed with attacking potential, but there have been some rumours with disgruntled stars disrupting the squad’s harmony from the bench as it was happened at both 2012 European Championships and the World Cup qualifiers. Lahm and his team must be sure that the ego and talent of every individual provides only for the squad’s benefit. Since first winning the crown in 1954, the 24-year wait for a title is Germany’s longest. When Germany won Italy 1990-the last time, the youngest midfielder of the current squad Mario Goetze were yet to be born.

Joachim Loew, the most tensed German figure—-image via:

Joachim Loew’s strength has been to instill impressive cohesion into his squad by hours of drilling. But the process could be hampered by the injuries and low fitness profile in his first- choice stars. The 54-year old insisted to work on flexibility and variation. He mainly urges on improving counter attacking after winning the ball back. The coach said about the team strategy,

” We haven’t done that as consistently well as we did at the South African World Cup and immediately after.”

The injury becomes unavoidable:

When into a World Cup campaign, it has become a habit for the Germany to suffer from injuries. In 2006 World Cup, Captain Michael Ballack suffered a calf injury while the current skipper Philipp Lahm underwent elbow surgery. In 2010, again Ballack was ruled out by a nasty tackle in the FA Cup final and Germany’s first-choice goalkeeper Rene Alder was out with broken ribs. Philipp Lahm took over Ballack’s absence while Manuel Neuer has taken his place between the posts and he is widely regarded as the World’s best goalkeeper. Four years on however and the fault line runs right along the back-bone of Joachim Loew’s first-choice squad.

Neuer injury, german injury
Manuel Neuer’s injury, a matter of concern—-image via:

The disaster came while Lars Bender withdrew and vice-captain Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sami Khedira lack fitness after respective knee surgery. Likewise, Neuer is struggling with a shoulder injury – think how bad it is for a goalkeeper. And the Captain Philipp Lahm is also being treated intensively for an ankle injury.

Loew is now low on options up front with only two recognized strikers in his squad.

The pressure is on for Germany:

Germany have boasted strong leaders traditionally, like- Stefan Effenberg, Michael Ballack or Oliver Kahn. But in recent years when things go wrong, both Philipp Lahm and Schweinsteiger have been criticized cruelly as the world saw in Euro 2012 semi-final defeat to Italy and 2010 World Cup defeat to Spain. According to Ghana midfielder Boateng although Germany have a superior side, they always feel the pressure to be World Champions. They lack characters like Effenberg or Ballack or Oliver Kahn.

In the deadliest Group G of 2014 World Cup Brazil the Germans will face Portugal on June 16. Lets see what Loew’s young side is made of…

Definitely American soccer has come a long way, especially after United States was awarded the 1994 World Cup even without their own league. In that time there were in fact not enough USA soccer players registered with professional clubs in premier division leagues. Actually Kasey Keller is a native of Olympia. And probably WA never experienced a ton of World Cup success like him. He went to four finals, where he was considered the number one keeper for a less confident US side. Yes, those USA soccer players failed to make the round of 16 in 2006. But surely his reputation overseas set new standards for where American goalkeepers could ever imagine.

Kasey Keller played regularly for Borussia Monchengladbach, Millwall, Rayo Vallecano, Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur. Obviously he was the first American soccer player to be a regular in the English, German and Spanish top competitions. With 101 caps to his name, Kasey Keller is now a color commentator for the Seattle Sounders, where he closed out his playing days of soccer world.

I think Tim Howard’s achievements as a goalkeeper are even bigger. If you try to consider the way he’s fared on an international stage, you will definitely find much more difficulties. The New Jersey native got his start between the sticks for Manchester United. Before that time, he became the permanent fixture at Everton in English Premier League. The great American soccer player has racked up 97 caps with the USMNT. Previously he was also the number one keeper at the South Africa World Cup 2010 and Brazil World Cup 2014.

May be at 35 years of age, it was his last appearance in a World Cup finals and we all know he tried the best out of him. Tim Howard is considered the number 9 of our list of top 10 best American soccer players in 2015.

Relatively brief stints with Coventry City in England and Vasco da Gama in Brazil, Cobi Jones would find by far his greatest club success as a member of the Los Angeles Galaxy from 1996. But as a matter of fact he has retired in 2007 and became an assistant coach with the Galaxy for recent years. He was a very remarkable among the then USA soccer players.

He is the most capped player to ever don the Stars and Stripes in international fields. With 164 caps and 15 goals to his name, he is the 8th of this list of top 10 best American soccer players in 2015. After appearing for the team at home at the 1994 finals, he went for two more World Cups in 1998 and 2002.

You just simply look at Germany for proof of this, midfielder Earnie Stewart was arguably the first to establish himself as a part of USMNT. Despite playing most of his club career in his native Netherlands, Stewart ended up gaining 101 caps and 17 goals for the Stars and Stripes. He also made it to the World Cup in 1994, 1998 and 2002.

He was particularly a big part of the latter team that made it to the quarterfinals. Undoubtedly he is one of only a few best American soccer players to play in three World Cup finals.

Eric Wynalda is arguably one of the best attacking players in US National Soccer Team. He is the first USA soccer player to establish himself by playing in Germany before returning stateside in 1996. The native of Fullerton, California racked up 107 caps and 34 goals. He made it to his third World Cup finals in France in 1998. Another case where USA soccer players did not score any goals following an insipid effort by the USMNT that saw them finish dead last.

Wynalda has since moved on to coaching. Currently he coaches the Atlanta Silverbacks of the NASL. He is our 6th pick as best American soccer players in 2015.

The last World Cup in Brazil also saw the great US soccer player as captain of the U.S. national team. I think there aren’t many that would argue against his title. The most experienced recognition goes beyond his native United States as a member of Fulham. And it led to a somewhat unsuccessful stint at Tottenham Hotspur then. The Texas native is still one of the most counted on members of the national team as an attacking midfielder.

With 36 goals and 103 caps for the national team under his belt, Dempsey is the 5th best American soccer player in our list. With two goals scored at the World Cup South Africa, he also guided the U.S. out of a difficult Group G in Brazil last year.

Brian McBride’s career outside American soccer began with unsuccessful belongings with Wolfsburg, Preston North End and Everton. But eventually he found his niche at Fulham and became regular from 2004 to 2008. Spending a large part of his career with the Columbus Crew in the MLS, he was named goal machine in his own right.

McBride scored 30 out of 96 caps with the national team of America. There has been also three goals performed from the 1998 and 2002 World Cups in his career. He is considered the 4th of our list of top 10 best American soccer players in 2015.

The former USA National Soccer Team captain Claudio Reyna is often called as “Captain America” to his supporters in Britain. He ended up earning 111 caps and eight goals for the Stars and Stripes. He appeared in total four World Cups – 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2006. His performances in the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan being good enough for him to get on the Team of the Tournament as its only American representative following their visit to the round of 16.

Reyna spent his club career mainly in Europe, playing in Germany, Scotland and England. The latter years also saw him enjoy his longest stay with one club as a member of Manchester City in English Premiere League.

At the age of 43, Brad is still playing as a goalkeeper, sometimes just as a backup. This totally an incredible accomplishment for anyone from the USA soccer players. Brad Friedel has achieved thanks to spending years living in England. He only played one game at France 98 and then the entire tournament four years later in Korea and Japan. Still his World Cup record is arguably better than most American goalkeepers.

The great American soccer player retired from international football somewhat early in 2005. The Ohio native’s record with Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur has sealed his reputation as one of the best goalkeepers, America has ever seen.

Probably the most popular and most famous of the best American soccer players in history, Landon Donovan has very little left to prove as far as his reputation is concerned compared to his American peers. The most successful part of his short-lived stints in Europe is arguably his two loan moves to Everton in 2010 and 2012. Also his success as a member of the San Jose Earthquakes and then Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS (American Soccer League) is bested only by his international career.

In total 156 caps and 57 goals (five of which came in the World Cup) and one of which he scored against Mexico in 2002 to bring the USA to the quarterfinals. Last year’s World Cup was quite a misery for the best American Soccer player, getting out of the precious squad. But that doesn’t change a bit to his popularity among the general soccer fans in America. All these consideration makes him the first choice as best of the USA soccer players in our list.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 30th

Previous Remarks: Euro 2008 (semi-final)

The last World Cup performance was not satisfactory for the upcoming hosts. They failed to break the Group Stage with a tie to Korea and Algeria and a loss to Belgium. Russia National Football Team has only once survived a major tournament Group Stage at Euro 2008 (semi-final).

But definitely 2018 will mark their fourth appearance ever at the FIFA World Cup. FIFA ranks them 30th in the world makes their top 10 world cup betting odds a feat in itself. The most obvious cause is that gamblers never underestimate the power of home turf as it is already named as 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia. Fans do believe that, the Motherland can very well light the fire its footballers need. So, Russia is considered as the 10th choice for world cup 2018 odds.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 20th

Previous Remarks: World Cup 1966, 1990 (fourth place)

The Three Lions’ prospects tied with Russia might be a little disappointment for English fans. All things told their outcome from last World Cup was not strong cause for optimism. Italy and Uruguay shut them out of the tournament which was far earlier than anyone ever expected.

Even England’s superstars failed to keep on the previous world cup betting. Their total performance was quite underwhelming. Almost everyone agrees that 2014 was England’s worst World Cup performance since 1958. The last time they failed to break the Group Stage that time. Wayne Rooney, being one of the present generation sensation for English football, couldn’t also shine on the right premises.

Together all these fact can haunt the English Football Team in Russia World Cup 2018. England is currently believed to be the 9th choice as World Cup 2018 odds.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 11th

Previous Remarks: World Cup 1934, 1938, 1982, 2006

The most important thing is Italy will definitely not look like the previous time in World Cup 2018 Russia. The 2006 World Cup champions played a disappointing duo of matches this year against Costa Rica and Uruguay. They were sent off home before the knockout stage.

Still no one can keep them out the world cup betting odds list. Though there is a major issue about the Italian Football era as their veteran midfielder Andrea Pirlo and iron goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon have probably seen their last appearance for Italy’s national team in World Cup 2014 Brazil.

So, 2018 Russia means a new days for Italian soccer which is definitely chilled with uncertainty. And after all these equations, Italy is the 8th ranked team as World Cup 2018 odds.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 4th

Previous Remarks: Fourth place – World Cup 1986

Some will definitely not doubt to keep them in the world cup betting list for 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Sturdy victories over Algeria, South Korea, Russia and the United States in Brazil 2014 makes them one of the favorites for world cup 2018 odds. Hopefully Belgium will surely be capable of showing their abilities for the unusual betting over them.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 5th

Previous Remarks: Runners-up – World Cup 1974, 1978, 2010

Total football team, Netherlands played exemplarily at 2014’s world cup. Beginning with an unprecedented 5-1 victory over the 2010 champions and serially swapping through Australia, Chile, Mexico and edged by Costa Rica on a nail-biting penalty victory.

Being one of the world cup betting odds, Netherlands ultimately succumbed to semi-final shootouts with runner-ups Argentina. But their performance surely have assured the world that a Dutch World Cup victory is hardly a crap shoot. Currently they are the record holders for most World Cup finals without a single win.

Many believes that the Netherlands is a genuine push just waiting to shove. So, they should be counted as at least the 6th world cup 2018 odds in this list.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 7th

Previous Remarks: World Cup 1998

The Blues have delivered on much of the promise they arrived with this year tournament. Their performance was cut short by a loss to the champions Germany for their second quarter final placement.

France’s world cup betting this time straddle optimism and caution. As the blues are not that consistent in World Cup history. Last tournament was a major step up from their 2010 and 2002 Group Stage eliminations. And yet also underwhelming for a team that placed second in 2006. World cup 2018 Russia is definitely going to be a great opportunity for the team.

If someone believes in patterns, Team France is now slated for Group Stage elimination once again. But gamblers can’t but keep them in the list of world cup 2018 odds.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 10th

Previous Remarks: World Cup 2010

Unfortunately Spain had to endure a tough bag of Group Stage games in Brazil World Cup. Their failure to overcome them was this World Cup’s first major disappointment. Previously they were probably having their string of victories in international soccer—Euro 2012, World Cup 2010 and Euro 2008.

But 5-1 loss to Holland! That was totally hard to predict for any kind of soccer followers. La Furia Roja’s reign at the top of football ended as suddenly as it could have. Still being counted for the world cup betting odds, Spain could occupy the highest FIFA World Ranking. People must have already willing for their valuable placement in the world cup 2018 odds list.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 6th

Previous Remarks: World Cup 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002

Undoubtedly this is the team, gamblers would not bother to look for the present rankings or their previous remarks.

But talking about the Brazil-Germany game, especially after Germany’s fourth goal at 26 minutes, the entire institution of football and every press outlet in the world experienced the same feeling. The five time winner’s domination by the World Cup champions, especially in that first half where six minutes produced four effortless goals.

With no Neymar and no Thiago Silva, Brazil seemed almost willing to be pried open by Germany’s precision attackers. Truly their 7-1 loss was quite painful to watch from any kind of football perspectives.

Though lost in upset, you can hardly have the scope to keep the true champions from any kind of world cup betting list. No football fan could make the case that Brazil aren’t one of the best teams for the Russia World Cup 2018. May be sometimes be told as one of the safest bets currently at no 3 of the top 10 world cup 2018 odds.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 2nd

Previous Remarks: World Cup 1978, 1986

There were hardly any complaints to be had about the runner-up performance for Argentina. A straight string of Argentine victories ended with a razor-thin margin in the final match. The team had to concede just a single goal in the exhausting 113th minute of unbelievable final.

Argentina more than held its own against the tournament champions. Many of the late gamblers would have predicted a shoot-out finale after they ran a superbly tight defensive performance. Current time soccer sensation Lionel Messi still ultimately won his 4th consecutive Ballon d’Or after a well-rounded performance.

So after all this conclusions it is just only reassured the soccer world that though Argentina didn’t exactly make history. No one need to doubt for the upcoming world cup betting with the Argentinians. Hopefully they will be able to keeping with the world cup 2018 odds expectations.

Ranking before 2018 World Cup: 1st

Previous Remarks: World Cup 1954, 1974, 1990, 2014

The world will likely remember Brazil 2014 as the year Germany wrote another chapter in football world. Germany’s trajectory included an historical beating of Brazil and historical beating of a host country. They have grounded with the 8th time in the final and fourth consecutive semi-final by any team in World Cup history of all time.

This is the country’s first World Cup victory as Germany. Previously they have succeeded with another three titles as West Germany. Now they can be considered second with Italy as World Cup winners. And propping up veteran striker Miroslav Klose to become the all-time leading scorer of the greatest show on earth.

Probably this time Germany is going to be your world cup betting odds, if your team is not able to qualify for the tournament. They are country nearly everyone know that will win.

Germany’s performance only leaves us with one question: will they be able to do it again in 2018 Russia World Cup? Don’t know, but surely gamblers will definitely fix them on top of the world cup 2018 odds list.

FIFA 15 Player Ratings – 88 Overall

Dribbling 92, Pace 89, Passing 85

Frank Ribery is one of the best and most underrated players on the soccer world. The 31-year-old continues to outdo peers five and ten years younger seems to stretch out the length of his physical prime every game. Ribéry is the second oldest player to make the top-ten list for FIFA 15 best players.

Fans may often feel that they hit the lottery if they land Ribéry in an Ultimate Team pack. I know some of them are very curious on using skill moves frequently. The Bayern Munich superstar is a five-star skill provider in this case. His weak foot is rated at four stars. He has 92 dribbling, 89 pace and 85 passing and overall 88 FIFA 15 player ratings.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is probably that particular player who has done it all during his professional career both in German National Football Team and Bayern Munich. He has seven Bundesliga titles to his name and also kissed the Champions League trophy in celebration. The national team manager Joachim Löw has recognized the importance of the 30-year-old naming Schweinsteiger as the country’s new captain.

EA is also keeping him at the top list of FIFA 15 best players with overall 88 points. Those fifa lovers who love to feature footballers with loads of pace may choose to shy away from the German storm. His 61 pace is far and away the lowest among field players who are listed in the top 10 best football players of FIFA 15.

FIFA 15 Player Ratings – 89 Overall

Pace 83, Shooting 87, Dribbling 88

The Uruguay superstar has earned the reputation for being one of the more despised athletes in all of professional football. He racially abused a player during a Premier League contest. There are other objections like he has bitten opposing players no fewer than three times, even during the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Brazil.

But above all no one would like to argue against the statement that Luis Suarez is one of the top striker in the football today. We can find resemblances that Barcelona paid £75 million over the summer to acquire his skill with the Catalans.

EA games may have underestimated how good of a finisher Suarez is as it pertains to the latest edition of FIFA 15. But 87 shooting is certainly lower than the shooting ratings given to three other players in this list of top 10 FIFA 15 best players.

Andres Iniesta is considered by many to be the best attacking midfielder of his generation. The Barcelona superstar has netted a plethora of personal and club honors since the 18 year old debut with the Catalan club. The 30-year-old has been named the best player in Europe and the top player in a European Championship. Champions League and World Cup trophies are also not beyond his very acquisition.

The well-rounded a midfielder is honorably found in the FIFA 15 best players list. His 75 pace is not blinding, but his 91 dribbling and 89 passing more than make up for the fact that Iniesta should overrule defenders comfort. One would be wise to start with Iniesta in case of outfitting a La Liga Ultimate Team of his own.

Casual fans of soccer who tuned into the 2014 World Cup have already learned what diehard soccer fans have known for years. And the truth is, Manuel Neuer is certainly the best goalkeeper in the world right now. He is most definitely to be placed with the all-time great goalkeepers or even all-time great footballers.

Neuer was awarded the Golden Glove for being the top keeper in the World Cup 2015. It was an honor he rightfully deserved for years. In fact the German performed so well on the world’s biggest stage that many analysts believed he was worthy of being named the FIFA Ballon d’Or 2015. He is the undisputed best goalkeeper in FIFA 15. Probably he is the only ‘keeper to crack the top-ten list of FIFA 15 best players.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is practically a walking real-life video game character among the football fans. The 6-foot-5 striker is well renowned for his cheeky back-heel goals during his career, which is one of the best finishers in the world and in FIFA 15 Games. EA gave him 91 shooting ratings in this version. That is much better than all but one player listed in the top ten list of FIFA 15 best players.

I think, the FIFA game lovers would be wise to “dare to Zlatan”. Ibrahimovic will turn 33 years old this fall and may end his professional career in Major League Soccer. The North American sports fans are going to get the full out of this great FIFA star.

The Dutch wonder made headlines this past summer during what may be his final World Cup appearance. Arjen Robben was undeniably one of the top performers of the biggest tournament on earth. Some even argued that Robben deserved to win the Golden Ball this time.

His defense and defensive work rate are low in FIFA 15. But EA probably blessed the Munich star providing ratings 93 pace, 86 shooting, 83 passing and 92 for dribbling. He is our third pick as the FIFA 15 best players.

FIFA fans are well accustomed with this player and his position as it is unchanged like the FIFA 14 best players list. The inevitable complaining and unending debates begin here. Cristiano Ronaldo earned the privilege of being recognized as the top player in the world. The FIFA Ballon d’Or award has been given to this unbelievable superstar of his generation .While the highest-rated player in FIFA 15 was sidelined because of injury, he found the back of the net a total of 51 times.

EA describes five star skills for our second pick of the FIFA 15 best players list. 93 pace, 93 shooting, 91 dribbling and 81 passing makes a complete package for first choice from any kind of completion in this game. FIFA 15 Player Ratings – 93 Overall

Pace 93, Dribbling 96, Shooting 89, Passing 86

Those interested in debating video game player ratings should remember one thing, there isn’t much a difference between a 93 and 92 rating. And in fact Lionel Messi has been the cover man for FIFA video games last four years. Of course Messi is one of the best real life footballers of his generation. His ability to dart through and between defenders while holding possession of the ball is unrivaled. The world-class finisher can strike seemingly at a moment’s notice.
